This takes a link and turns it into a clickable link on the page.
 
What is this useful for? Well, say you see an object (flash file / video etc) embedded into a page, and want to save it. Many players don't give you the option of saving the thing that they're playing (windows media player, for example) so what you do is enter the link here, right click on the text link, and click 'save target as'
 
This is a too-simple idea, yet the browsers don't implement it in any way. This is not a 'show off my coding' piece.
 
If you don't understand any of this, ignore it.
 
This script was first written in 1997, loved by everyone I showed it to, I figure I may as well put it up for public consumption.
